Built on the foundations of an old barn, Le Chene is one of 2 gites on site at La Charriere, and is designed to offer comfortable and spacious accommodation for up to 10 guests. With a spacious kitchen and dining area, and lovely lounge there is more than enough room for all your friends, or the whole family! The self-catering gite is in the rural Deux-Sevres department in the Poitou-Charentes region.

Guests at Le Chene enjoy the privacy of a patio area which gets all the afternoon sun and great sunsets viewed across the back field. There is a bbq for your use and parking space on site. All guests have shared use of all the onsite facilities including large heated outdoor swimming pool (May - September), bicycles, badminton/basket ball court, table tennis and pool.

The English owners live in another property on the site and on hand to offer advice on where to go, what to see, where to eat and which wines to try!
